my air cooled vws

Post by choptopvolksrod »

my 1975 vwbeetle. I chopped it 4ish inches. 1835cc engine with dual 40mm webers and 8.7:1 compression with 1.4:1 rockers and lots of finned aluminum goodies. a little bit of in house head work. stainless valves and high rev springs. its been a little over a year since i started cutting it up.ill try and get some pics of my other aircooled veedubs. and a pic of my 56 oval. its the only one i have right now. was OG color was polar silver and i have the OG 36 hp engine for it still.

my 71 super with top line sport plus adjust struts big sway bar and lowered rear shocks. 2027 stroker with 44mm dual webers big cam big valve heads and ratio rockers.

my 67. gutted and lightened front end. has a spool in the rear with a truss bar traction bar deal. m&h slicks on centerline wheels and lexan windows.i know its not a car ut its just a kool bike. its a 66 jawa 175. made in Czechoslovakia.
