boost leak?

when im at WOT i get a whistling kinda noise and a quick little decrease in power. would this be due to a boost leak or perhaps faulty DV's? any help would be awesome.

Sounds like a loose clamp on a silicone hose. Whats your IC setup...stock?

I also say boost leak, and it could be either or, or both. Are you at full boost at WOT while experiencing this?

not sure since i have a shit gauge and not a sweet podi!! lol...all hoses are definitely tight. i hope the new N75 valve fixes it. what about that tuning? just a peek at whats going on maybe. and yes i would say im at full boost when it happens. but only if i hammer it, if i walk into it its good. IC's are AWE SMIC's. things are HUGE!!!!!

i asked the guys on quattroworld and they suggested exhaust leak around the wastegate or that the N75 couldnt react fast enough to the boost spike. do these sound problems sound right? it only happens when i reach full boost and then goes away. hey aeron can we check some stuff when the podi comes in? would love to make sure im not overboosting. let me know if we could do some pulls and see what happens. and who had that AWD dyno?

how long do the podi's take to get here? and we could do this on a friday or something if you want. i get back from italy on the 7th and i deploy at the end of august so anytime between then.
