S8 brakes

Post by vegas2017 »

would s8 brakes be a bolt on upgrade for a s4? im pretty sure the only difference is the diameter of the rotors.

I vaugely remember a few people doing this as a rear brake upgrade, but it's a been a long time. STFA at audiwolrld.com, you may find something. Everyone goes aftermarket these days. If you're looking to save some $, I'd look at some high quality pads on your stock brakes.

I would question if they would clear your wheels, and I believe you would need carrier adapters (034 has them), but that would also depend on the generation of S8 you are getting the calipers from. S4 calipers are already pretty beefy, and I agree with Rammy - new rotors and Hawk pads would be worth the cash. Plus, it would be more beneficial to upgrade the front brakes because that's where the most braking force is applied.
