we made one out of 2x4's no plans to build it, worked great!

Made one for my '69 bronco build. It's been working out great. I've even had to load it on a trailer and temporarily store the tub in my garage. Traveled great!

The only thing I would do different is get better wheels. I didn't go with a high enough load rating and they don't swivel as easily as I would like.

I'll try and dig around for the materials list and see what I have into it cost-wise.

awesome man.. thank you... i was thinking of taking two hobo freight engine stands.... connecting them with two pieces of steel.... i dont think it will be high enough off the ground though... :thumbsup: appreciate the help

you could cut them in half on the riser, and make them height adjustable.

would that f with the weight capacity of the stands though??? supposedly the frame weighs about six hundred gutted. . . . .great idea though :thumbsup:

i think it would be more than ample, think how much a big block chevy weighs by itself, and can be held by one stand, even if they are lengthened, there will be two.
