2002 B6 A4

Post by B6A4 »

I'm new to the forum and am super stoked to see so many sick cars in Montana! I currently have APR stage 1 and was super stoked on it until..... I bought a GT2X and Im now in need of a new tune... WHAT SHOULD I GET?! Ive been looking into a REVO just because of the dealer in Missoula! (Im from Kalispell) Ive also been looking at Unitronics because thats what a few people have recommended.... Anyone have some input?

I also found a guy on Audizine thats running APR K04 software with this turbo with a few tweaks done to it.. Which would be nice since an uptune from APR is only $200...

AND on that note.... Anyone in Kalispell or near that likes to cruise?!

Welcome to the forums!
You should post up some pix of your A4
You can talk to Aeron a.k.a. Rennwagen on here, he is the Revo dealer here in missoula.

Ya I was hoping he'd chime in! Theres a GIAC BT ecu on audizine for 550 w/ 415cc injectors but I dont exactly have 550 haha! It would work perfect though because he used it with a GT2X... So thats kind of what Im leaning towards if I get anything else unless REVO proves to be pretty legit and a decent price... But the APR K04 would be sick cause it would only be $200 for the up-tune....

If you can get me a complete build sheet on the car, I can see what I can do. When dealing with upograded turbos and the like, I usually forward the info onto my guys at Revo to make sure we can make the most of the upgrades. Let me know what you got, and we'll see what we can do!

Oh yeah! Welcome!

Well as of now its a build in progress... I came across a stupid deal on getting a new turbo so I went for it... Now Im playing catch up... aka FMIC, new tune, bigger injectors, exhaust....

So right now all I have is the GT2X, test pipe, swiss cheesed airbox, forge dv... So im kinda up for input on what I should do/get.. This spring I will be following up with all the supporting mods like the FMIC and exhaust....

My first thought was just getting some 386cc injectors and going with the APR K04 tune which will work but its not using the turbo to its full potential.. So after a little digging on the zine some guys say to run BT software and just tweat it a little bit since the GT2X~(GT2650) isnt as big as a GT28...

Nice ride. I am looking into getting a new set of wheels. What size are your wheels and what offset are you using?

Very nice! That's a unique cover there - paint or vinyl?

I merged your two threads because you had photos in one thread, and description in the other - may as well make it one thread. Feel free to move your pictures to the #1 post if you wish.
