had the the rotisserie engine stand extension fabricated a little to tall. I wanted the edge of the car to be about foot - two foot off the ground. ended up being about three. oh well.. time to get grindin.
That is awesome! I am getting ready to scrape and under coat the GTI. So a rotisserie would be the way to go. I may just have to fab one up. Thanks for the inspiration.
i know mk 1 shells are alot lighter.. do a search on the whoretex for rotisserie. people have detailed prints of wood ones you can make. plus with mk 1 s you can just attach your support straight to the bumpers. if im done with mine your welcome to use it. but it does need to be shortened.
bout 12-14 hours in on stripping the bottom of the car... its a dirty dirty dirty whore. Only about half way done. For all the billings folk has anyone got any soda blasting done in town and would recommend there business????
