VW to the rescue

Tonight, while on my way to a friends house, i came across 3, 20ish guys attempting to shovel their 4 door, full size car out of the ditch. Somehow, they did not navigate the turn and high-centered the front end. I pulled over to help. First we tried putting my tire chains under the tire, but the front end was just high enough not to make contact.

Lightbulb!
I said hang on... and proceded to put the chains on my tire... but only in a half ass maner (to keep them from falling off. Positioning the bug back to back with their car, and telling them to put it in netutral, i proceded to hook up with a 150lb ratchet strap. after 2 gental tugs, the car came out of the snowbank with incredible ease..
as we were parting ways, they parted with theis perfect phrase: 'This is something from a Volkswagon commercial!'

I LOVE IT.... My puny Newbeelte saving the day! (all the while, a 1 ton truck with an older gentleman was closly watching our efforts... but only offered rope.. and not his truck!)
