ya scotch brite the car for another fine coat or two of LY3D, tornado red. Josh and I s metal man will be shaving a few things... NOT THE BAY... Makin the car flat, straight, and gangster approved.  I gave up looking for a guy to soda blast my new floor pans. Every business I called in billings appeared really sketchy or didnt even answer.

Cool beans, T-red will be nice.

I've pretty much given up in Billings for anybody to do anything to my car - very few places seems to give a rats a$$ about workmanship, taking pride in doing work correctly, or doing any job that is slightly out-of-the-box.

I know soda won't etch as badly as sand, but are you opposed to sand blasting those pans? I know a guy who could sand blast them for you.

Actually, you shouldn't need to do much since you are welding them in anyway. Are they painted?

The floor pans have the brand new factory rust/primer black stuff...Im going to re coat them in POR 15 ( since the factory protective already failed once). I wanted to soda blast them so i wouldnt pit into the metal like sandblasting does. Ive decided to just clean and scrape the pans my self down to bare metal.
