Let me think about it. That kind of money can buy a ton of stuff for my MKI build!

No problem. I haven't listed them on Vortex yet so for the moment I don't think they are going anywhere unless someone else inquires. :)

Got the Gti back from American Auto Body on Friday. They did a great job on the quarter panel. They did however crack one of my tail lights, didn't tuck the door handle seal and forgot to hook my ipod dock back up. Anyway here are some picks. I also took off the snow tires and cleaned up the longbeach rims and mounted them. Also pics with the new head lights and tail lights.

This is the quarter panel that they fixed. Also the tail light that AAB cracked. You can barley see it in the pic.

Pretty nice work there, looks good. Mine's going in here for that work on the passengers side, so hopefully it will come out good. It seems that AAB misses the little stuff...I had similar things on my last visit with them. Better QC would make them better in my eyes, that's for sure.

Fo sho. At least it looks good and it was just little stuff that I could fix besides the tail light. I am still trying to work that out with them.

So last weekend I pulled the turbo and exhaust manifold off of the car do to massive exhaust leaks. Well I ran into a couple of snags. One of the mounting bolts for the turbo was broke off. The guy that put the kit in didn't reinstall the turbo support which caused the turbo to come lose. This also put a lot of strain on the manifold and cracked it. When I tried to get the broke bolt out of the turbo I also snapped off the easy out that I was using :banghead: I have been soaking the bolt with penetrating oil and tomorrow I am going to put a little heat to it and see if I can get it out. If that doesn't work I am not sure what I will do. I did get my new exhaust manifold in the other day so if all goes well with the busted bolt I will have it back together tomorrow. Man whoever installed the aftermarket stuff for Grant should not be working on cars!

Oh by the way AAb is getting me a new set of tail lights. The tech admitted that he broke the light taking it off.

That would be Darkside, aka Josh. He does know what he's doing and I'm sure he will have an explanation for the missing support. Glass you are getting new tails!
