Well ... test drove a B5 S4 today. And good GOD! MMOOOOAAARRRRR BBBBOOOOOOSSSSSTTTTTSSSZZZZSSSS.

Either the previous owner chipped this or the 2.7t I had in my allroad was way detuned ... but this thing pulls hard. Wow.

The downside is that it currently has a set of blizzaks on and it is a slush-box. In either case, it may pull the trigger. Avant FTW.

And with that, I'm back. And what better to re-re-reintroduce myself than with my ride:

BMW E28 535is.

It needs a little love; expansion tank, a good cleaning, the dash replaced, the fog lights need to remounted in the air dam and I need to fix a leak in the trunk.

Aside from that, she pulls hard and is a blast to drive. I'm looking foward to getting her up to snuff and meeting up with all of you.

Definitely! I'm sure I'll be leaning on some of you for your vast Euro knowledge. My previous Euro rides have all been Audis. Though I did have an E30, but that was before I was all savvied up on mechanics.

Negative. Couldn't get my Tacoma sold in time and the seller sold it out from under me. Instead, I picked up a 2001 Land Cruiser for winter and skiing and such and the BMW I just found. Perhaps again some day.

I thought I might Walking Dead this thread and bring it back.

After some help from a fellow Germanphile I have my self a shiny new Euro sled. Through some searching, I found an e46 330ci with a stage 2 active autowerke supercharger, kW v1 coilovers, Hamann HM2 wheels and a few other goodies.

She needs a bath, new tires and a proper nickname. Nonetheless, I thought I'd stop buy and see what's kickin'. Good to be back!
