The car is getting close. The interior was pulled cleaned and reinstalled, fixed the pass. side door handle, cleaned and repainted the pan on the pass. side, the re-wiring is almost complete, and the motor is pulled. It is time to disassemble and inspect. From what I can see so far this motor is really clean inside, has case savers, spring loaded pushrod tubes, and extremely clean heads. It defiantly looks like some one has been through it.

Engine is apart. This thing looks like it has been rebuilt recently. All of the internals are insanely clean and show VERY little signs of wear. Crank needs to be polished and 8 doweled, new valve guides, new seals and a good cleaning. It was defiantly running rich, carb probably needs jetting. Cleaned the carbon from the top of cylinders(no lip and still have crosshatching) and put a light coat of paint on them.

I wanted to make sure all internals looked ok. One lifter had some abnormal wear on the face(bore ok) and so did the corresponding lobe. So it is going to get a bigger cam and new lifters too.

you gunna get some bigger carbeuration? if you get a bigger cam it would probably be a god idea cause those solexes are kind of a pain in the ass to tune. but then again it might be ok cause i ran a 1776 with a solex 30. what cam are you getting?

I'm thinking a 100, maybe a 110. Nothing to wild with this build.
