Ya im gonna ask my insurance co about that stuff. The High NADA is 22k for this car!! low is 9K!
Im happy with this deal so far, even though im finding more rust than i care to. The spare tire well is the worst spot. Couple bubbles in the rear fenders, bondo in the rear driver quarter, this car was in a rear accident and rear was repaired but not that well.. Interior is dirty but is mostly complete, dash is cracked.
And the engine bay is a mess.

aaahhhhh, memories. I have a lot of fond memories of sliding around those vinyl seat on an autocross course! And I remember when I modified that center console to fit a single din stereo, all custom-like, cause I was an audio PIMP! I will have to go through some old photo albums and scan the non digital(WHAT!?!?!) pics to share.

How long did it take you to get used to the right hand turn signals? im gonna be flashing every one high beams when i try to signal a turn!
So far im digging this car, the kids love it too! my 2 year old calls it "green beemer" and gets excited when he sees it. As for the seats, it like sitting on rice krispies, the horse hair or whatever it is, is SHOT its so annoying. needs foam.. recaros! and a more modern back seat! still undecided if i want to keep it OG or make it custom. first project is rebuilding the brake system, hopefully i can start on that after i get back from Havre this weekend.

this car was seriously wrecked at some point. looks like they used a silver car for donor metal,the whole trunk and floor! check this out
