'89 Helios Jetta VR6 Swap

Well... since i got dumb and went around a corner too fast in the damp in my black aw11 '87 mr2 with the snow tires still on it... and lost control destroying the front end (thank fucking god everything mechanical is sound since we also have an '86 mr2 waiting for a new motor... which mine has haha... rebuilt 4age ftw)... i had to get a new car... my bro has a '90 Jetta Diesel (side exhaust, red, really loud... i know some of you have seen it in Billings)... i decided to one up him and get a vr6 swap...

Just picked her up in Oregon a couple weeks ago for 3 grand... im already in love... does need some TLC however... but the engine is pristine... just got a new timing chain tensioner bolt to make it stop making the tick noise... common problem as all of you know

yeah... honestly i wasnt even that shaken up from the wreck... i took out a pole haha. I got out and knew exactly the mistake i had made and just started shouting profanities to blow off some steam... so glad the popo didnt need to get involved thanks to a nice guy who happened to be driving by in a new chevy... with chains in the back
