WTB: MK3 Golf/Gti shell ?

I'm looking for an mk3 golf mostly, not sure if there were 2 door golfs. 5spd please.
I've got this obd1 2.0 needing to be put in something, pretty much have everything including tranny and blink codes

So I need something to put it in. Golf. Gti.? Already have a jetta, i want different.

It could be just the shell or what have you. But hopefully a low rust car.
Open to ideas, mk1 mk2, if you have something that is tired of sitting.

I think about that one a lot. I'm sure it's good power for that chassis

They did make 2dr golfs, but they are hard to find. Probably even harder to find a donor shell. I would look heavily into the rabbit idea. My GTI had only 90 hp in 1984, so who knows what it really has now. That thing is still a hoot to drive, and an automatic +25 hp would make one awesome. Also, think about dropping a Neuspeed ABA supercharger ( I have seen them used on the 'tex and other places) on one, and would have upwards of 160 hp, without having to deal with the VR6 weight in a rabbit. That sounds sexy to me. That tranny would need a Quaife or something to put that power down for sure. And you can come up with a Rabbit easily, sometimes for free!

I have some 4 door rabbits and a couple MkII GTis that would be good homes for a 2.0 if you are ever down towards Billings you could check them out.

I have an 88 small bumper shell, it's far from perfect. I also have a 92 that is complete at the moment, but if you want a shell I would be interested in selling it without the 16V 2.0.

I don't have any pics of the 88 at the moment and it is stashed in storage. I will see if I can get pics if you are interested.

hey Randy my gf is looking for a mk2 daily, is that green GTi for sale? She has a mk4 vr6 jetta auto pretty rough though it is for sale or trade...

I still have some work to do on it before it is ready to sell as a driver. I will have it for sale about the end of may as a driver.
