It runs! But here's what my pump is sounding like. Makes the same noise no matter which pump I put in - new or used. I have a feeling the accumulator may be causing the problem.

Anyone have a good spare? Wade I think the one I got from you could be bad as well.

Mainly consistent fuel pressure. I still don't have it, and I think it's the accumulator. The pump seems to work fine, I even ran the new pump for a bit and it did the same thing - fuel pressure all over the place, and mostly lack of.

Right now it will run OK, but only for a few minutes until the pressure goes wacky.

little by little you seem to be making headway. So what is your plan for the caddy? looks like she will be running soon.

Plan is to bring it back to life and drive it :)

I'll eventually drop it on coils, drop plates and then give it some body work and paint, and line the bed.

Nice work mike! That pump sounds pissed. Is it getting proper voltage?

Yeah, it makes the same noise if it's wired direct to the battery and grounded to the axle. The new pump does the same thing, that's why I think the noise is actually the accumulator, not the pump.
