Fiiiiine. They are temporary. I do really live in the boondocks in North Dakota. I put them in to get me to and from work for now.

Autolites huh? Probably ok to run, but not the optimal plug.

Yes, a tune will fix your current overboost issue. It's the first thing you should do if you plan to modify your car and before you bolt anything up.

Look into GIAC and Unitronic too, and see if there's a 91 octane flash, or if it's ok to run a 93 flash on 91.

I've been researching a lot of tunes and it seems like GIAC, Revo and Unitronic you have to go to a dealer to have it installed. As with APR I can just take out my ECU and send it off then put it back in. From what I read you can run 91 on a 93 flash with APR. But something I can't figure out for the life of me after all night of researching is what does APR mean when they say 2/3/4 programs? 91/93/100 ect.? I figure I would only need 91/93 or quite possibly just 93.

I'm fairly certain you can send your ECU to any dealer/reseller and they will bench flash it. I did that with my REVO stage 1 and 2 flash. Rennwagen1 may know where to flash a REVO tune, he flashed mine, or Darkside knows of a shop that is a dealer for GIAC. Maybe they will pipe up here, or you can PM them and see what they can do.

The 2/3/4 you are talking about...that may be the stage you are meaning? Link to what you are reading?

The APR is all stage 1 they all just have different programs. So I'm confused to what programs are. I've done research for all the chips and it seems like people all swear by Revo, APR and GIAC. I'm leaning between APR and Revo and they are pretty much the same price.

The link for what I'm talking about with the APR tune is:

I like the APR over Revo...but that is just personal taste. You will prob have to send off your ecu.

OK I see what you are reading. Those are for multiple tunes at different fuel octanes. Street 91 vs. Track 100...

So that's what that means. Most will just use the 1 program, but if you track or autox your car you would want more programs (maybe) to use higher octane fuel.
