Hey Mike, what's that swanky little red bike in the background?
That's my Yamaha LB80 Chappy. Great little motorbike.
If I were to buy new parts, it wouldn't be worth the cost. Plus then I would just go buy a newer Audi. But then I would be starting all over again.

Hopefully it's OEM and not crap like amsoil.

Because I ran Amsoil MTG in my corrado trans and it destroyed the trans.
I still think Amsoil makes great oils, but for a VW/Audi transmission I would stay away from ANY aftermarket oil and just go OEM Fluid. They have the fluid made to the exact specs for their transmissions and there are millions of them racking up miles on it without issues sooo.. oem.

On the other hand I know shop that have exclusively ran amsoil in all of their VW trans for years and years so....there is that. Also I have used amsoil fluid in the tranny of my Jetta for the last 10+ years no problems there. If indeed amsoil ruined Spencer's tranny, it was an extremely rare case. I am sure Mike will use whatever he thinks is best.
Oh it's also in my Golf now. Looking good Mikey!
