Ask for Doug at Safelite, he is a friend of mine and will take time to make sure everything is right on a project car. We used the smooth window moulding in the last rabbit I did and it turned out really nice.

Front glass scheduled for Thursday afternoon. I requested Doug, but I don't know if he does the mobile service. Either way it will be nice to have a windshield back in!

Yeah it's been like a princess sitting in the garage with no front or rear glass. Been working on the big truck in order to get it sold so I can concentrate on the Caddy.

Anyone interested in a big '75 F250 High Boy 4x4?

Today...got mostly rain, some snow.

First off, Doug rules. Anyone in the area who needs glass done needs to talk to Safelite - best experience I've had with a glass company, and I've had a few different ones in town replace windshields. Thanks Randy, Doug also says to tell you hi

New glass in the front, wow, makes a huge difference! Also I got the rear window in and it sits well, and clean.

Heater works, although I think I have a bad thermostat (even though it's new), because I don't feel any warm coolant flowing in the bottom hose, and my coolant dummy light is lit up. This weekend I'll tackle that.

New OEM NOS drivers flag mirror and seal (Wade, from our eBay guy...) Also have a small duckbill to install, front flashers to repair, and front bumper to push in.

Crappy pictures:

After it runs good, I have to figure out what wheel/tire to run. Then coils in the front and axle flip to drop it.

Ideas on wheels? Tire size?

Need moar low, so picture coils and a drop in the rear. Wheel choice poll...should I:

Keep the GT wheels, add low pro tires?

Image

Go with the original 13" western wheels, with tire stretch?

Snowflakes?

Image

BBS RA's? (pic stole from Trevor)

Image

Go with some BMW's?

Anyone have anything they want to sell? Trade? Trade plus cash? I have all kinds of parts, and computers/laptops etc.

I'm open to anything 4x100 with a decent offset.

Pushing in the bumpers on the GTI was one of the best looking/cheapest mods I did.

Budget build idea, keep the GT's and paint the inner star flat or semigloss black, accentuating the raised portion around the holdes and not the star. It should give the wheel a little depth too, it looks really flat right now.
