Digifant mk2, no spark
After shaving the bay and extending the harness I have run into a wall. The Ignition Module is not sending a signal to the coil. I replace the unit with a new module the system was getting spark like it should. When I went to fire the engine, nothing. I've got continuity throughout the circuit, good ground, and 12V; however, while cranking the voltage to the module drops to 8V, I think. Hall, coil, ecu, ignition switch is all good. Any help would be fantaastic.

Ground issue? Hall sender working right? Lets see your project!

This car was a mess, It still needs a lot of work, and it has only just begun.
The ground in the Module circuit is good. Hall sender is new, but, is not getting a signal because of the ignition module failing. Every time I put in a new module, it fails, within minutes.

Nice car! How about beefing up grounds from block/trans to the chassis? Is the coil toasting them?

if the grounds were shot, the ecu is probably fried, run through, make sure all grounds are right, and clean, try another ecu just to be sure, looks like a great start, looks good!

Re: Digifant mk2, no spark

The grounds have all been redone but I will def recheck and confirm. ECU has a relay ahead of the power source and the relay is okay so I assume its fine, I will look for another ecu. I need to check the voltage coming from the coil. If I remember the voltage powering the module drops while cranking, from 12V down to 8V

Update, I found a crossed wire in the hall circuit. I get spark now but it still wont start. I've checked the knock sensor and thats it. Not sure if I am getting fuel tho I can hear the pump turn on.

OUTTA GAS? it happens, check, also check the injectors for power WHILE cranking.

Also an obvious suggestion, but if you pulled the dizzy, check your timing, maybe you are 180 out.

Re: Digifant mk2, no spark
Car has gas
the injectors have 4V of power and while cranking voltage stays the same. Made sure the dizzy and timing is correct. I pulled the injectors and cranked and was not seeing any fuel. Pump is priming but I don't know what the filter looks like. I didn't mess with the fuel system at all besides wiring the injector connector and the wiring is good
