FS: Momo Race Airleather shift knob $60 + ship

Selling my Momo Race Airleather Aluminum Shift Knob. I used this on my B6 A4 Tiptronic, but it may work on others. I just don't have a use for it anymore after a 5 speed swap.

It's in great shape - I've had it for about 3 years and there are only a couple of really small flaws: three tiny tiny marks on the front of the knob (on the 3rd picture) and the MOMO label and surrounding ring are a bit worn from use. I actually never noticed those small flaws until I pulled it off.

Pics are of the knob and when installed on my car. Note: I don't have the original box, but that picture is from the day I bought it new.

How does it work without the side release button? I'd be interested by nothing on my A6 is black so it wouldn't gell.

You need the SPP mod to work with a Tip trans - it's a small machined barrel that allows the shifter to be lifted up instead of using the button on the stock shifter. I just sold that part to a guy on Audizine, because it's pretty specific to Audi and the Tip trans shifter, and didn't think anyone here would be interested.

I would think this knob would work with most 5/6 speed shifters. It won't work without shift boot modification on my Audi, and I have a JHM knob being made for mine along with the JHM shifter and linkages.

If there a pic of the barrel? I searched all over and never saw the actual part. Assuming they are a somewhat simple, I could CNC a batch of them for way cheaper than 60!
Looks like this works fine on VW b5. correct?
