It was bit sketch, but turning anything on a 1948 Atlas is.. Handy dang tool tho.

Thanks Mike. No engine and needs alot of parts but the price hopefully will reflect it. And come with some type 4 tins for Wade.
That deluxe is clean as hell. OG paint no body damage!

Split the type 4 case that came in my bus tonight, glad i did. Its my new boat anchor.

Camshaft middle bearing. I didn't find the broke off piece. however i did find lots of aluminum shavings. Trash!

The plan as of now is to think about it over some coffee..
Keep it type 4, the guy im getting the caddy (hopefully) is a mega VWAC guru. he said he had a case, ill ask his advise and hopefully he will break into his parts stash and let a set of 2.0 heads go also.
Other wise i have a 1.7 GEX block that i may crack open, and mic the bearings and see what its like.
