Yeah because I don't have insurance on it right this minute. I think I'm going to pull the engine and replace the throw out bearing before I switch my insurance from the mk2 to the mk3. Maybe... It's going to be hard to drive with my shoes looking to clean!!!

So I was thinking about getting some slim fans and mounting them as pushers in front of the rad. I'm going getting 2 12in fans from frozenboost.com, running low speed so that it kicks one fan on then high will run both fans.
Having never really dealt with aftermarket fans I was looking for your guys opinion on that. Do you think I can run with the stock fan module or does anyone have a better idea? Think it will be enough cfm of air flow? 2 fans with 1600 cfm a piece. I read pusher fans are only about 80% as efficient but I think it will look way better. So any thoughts or input would be great!!

I haven't updated in a while. I decided to pull my engine to replace a noisy throw out bearing and remove my abs a few months ago. After I got the engine pulled I kept thinking while I have it out I should do this and that and the list kept growing. It has turned into a mild bay clean up with slim fans, BFI motor mount, removing unwanted plugs and wires, rewrapping of my harness, scrubbing my bay with a tooth brush (something forest said he was doing so I blame him for that) cleaning and painting my block and other engine parts, deleting my abs, relocating P/s bottle, replacing throw out bearing and engine speed sensor, thinking about trying to find some cheep headers and wrapping those, deleting AC, replacing lots of seals and gaskets, and I'm sure I'm missing lots of other things... It's been a pretty slow process because I just started my first year in collage and that's taking up a lot of my time. So a few pictures of my very very slow project.

Six hours of removal, scrubbing and painting. Clean painted block

I guess my phone deleted all the rest of my pictures. Will take more and up date when I get home

I replaced that like 20,000 miles ago. But like an idiot didn't do the throw out bearing.
