No O2, just CIS-Basic

This weekend would be great if you can make it out. I noticed is that the oil thinned out in about 15-20 miles, so it's really spitting fuel...I hate to drive it too far. In fact, I'm going to need to change the oil before we work on it.

I have your computer stuff ready to go too, so I can get that back to you.

Going to get going on this again. Didn't lose interest, but just got too busy over the summer.

I found and swapped the original (rebuilt) CIS-Basic fuel distributor back on and it runs, but needs some tuning. Randy, I need some CIS testing help

I also have a rear bumper/hitch to piece together and bolt on. And sadly, the headliner glue gave up over the summer and is now sagging My nice new headliner is now pooched due to shitty contact cement.

Mike... you should just give up on the old.
I want to see someone rip the insides from a caddy and put in the V6 Diesel engine with 4motion...
Then you can pull your bus on a trailer.

You youngin's and you're "new" ideas Respect your elders, son!! I do like the idea very much but it's beyond my current skill set. I have a VR6 ready for a rebuild, but that will probably not make it into this truck.

CIS is fine, just needs a tweak. I swapped the other fuel dizzy back on and it runs fine, but probably still needs leaned out. Hard to tell without a pressure tool and an exhaust sniffer.

As much as I love this little truck, it's not getting the proper respect from me right now. I've done a ton of things to get it roadworthy and it's been a blast working and driving it. With two kids plus gear to haul, it's not practical right now. Plus, I can't bear the thought of it sitting over the winter, so it's currently looking at a new possible home.

Its never going to be practical! My truck isn't practical for me now and I'm just a college student with more than one friend to haul around. The truck is just cool, that's it. People see you driving it and smile. Its a cool way to drive to work and home. And if you got a friend in billings who can help you install digi II you'll be a very happy camper. No more cis to mess around with! Don't stop believing!
