Re: 92 SLC
i recommend the mk1-vr6 conversion kit on BFI comes with all mounts and axles to make it all bolt up, other ways its very tricky, def need shortened axles. in the rabbit or the scirocco. weld in mounts to support the factory style bushings are popular, but difficult to get just right.

Re: 92 SLC
also to convert the vr6 from dizzy to coil, you would need the upper timing cover from an obd2 car full engine harness and ecu for obd2 as well as obd2 throttle body, etc. anything thats different obd1 to obd2

Re: 92 SLC
some obd1 engines had coilpacks as well too an easy way to tell if its obd1 or 2 look at the throttle body, if its like 8 wires its obd2 if its only 3 wires and has a dash pot to settle the idle, its obd1

Re: 92 SLC
it has three and it looked almost like a mk2 jetta from where it came from. i had grabbed all the wiring from the fuse box. and the computer. itsa. AAA just like my raddo but ya the dif is the ignition . i would also like to add that a cap for one is $83 bucks were i just put 5 min apoxy on it and called it good. also i would rather just change the motor than buy a cap .... ha
