5 lug swap

Post by benno3231 »

So... I can't seem to find a lot of information regarding five lug swaps on mk2's on the vortex. I read that you can drill mk2 control arms to fit passat ball joints and also of course adapt the bearing/steering knuckle. any thoughts?

If you really really want to do a 5 lug swap.... I might have a set of mk3 GLX knuckles.
It's not how fast you go. It's how well you go fast.

Thanks for the info Keegan, that does definitely help!

Trevor, I may need to hit you up for those. I believe those glx knuckles will fit right into my mk3 2.0 k frame and control arms. At least better than the passat ones.
