What auto-x class do you run in? Also check your tires after the first event. You might want to dial back your camber a bit, but maybe not.

I am running in SMF (street modified front). I have my camber dialed in really good with my tires. If anything I wish I had a 245 and not a 225, and I may need to jump up my rear sway bar, but I am gonna try to make as many adjustments with my coil overs as possible to eliminate the small under steer issue I am running into.

The first auto cross race wasn't to bad. It was really cold and I was running into some over steer issues. I did find out stock brakes do not stop at all when they get hot. I bought some HAWK HPS pads and some stainless steel brake lines. Cory also turned my rotors as well so everything should work good.

I did my intake clean this weekend, and I am really glad I did because this thing was choked up!

when i did autox in the mk6 gti i ran into the same brake issue and it really surprised me. i'm going to try the passat wagon the next time i do it but if i do the gti again the pads are definitely on the list of changes.
how many miles are on it that the valves were that gunked?

The cool part about the Hawk pads is the hotter they get the better they stop. In the morning going to work the car stops okay, but by the time I have made it to work and stopped a dozen times it will damn near throw you through the windshield. My car has roughly 45,000 miles on it when I did my intake clean.

I like my hawk pads too. I have the HPS and they are a tiny bit dusty.
