Haha! No. Actually it started with me being curious about why my bumper seemed to be falling off. Evidently, after I got going, I discovered that the bumper bar was not attached properly to the rails. So I need new bolts for those.

I'm guessing when the guys at Eurocode in Cali put the FMIC on, they did a hack job of pulling the bar off, busted up the bolts and put two tiny screws into the bumper cover into the bar, then reattached the cover to the rest of the body panels. I'm quite annoyed. I mean, how hard is it to put a car back together right? Took me ten minutes to pull that apart and put it back together.

But then I changed out my timing belt in the Passat and was in there frequently, so it's not a huge deal for me. I didn't have any leftover parts either actually, I think I replaced a few

Back on topic: still don't know if I'm going to show or if I even want the stress of having to beautify my car for it :\

And to me it looks like he has VHS tape to watch while doing it, as a step by step tutor!

I have to change the oil on the 'reg tomorrow night. l mean, I love 'dubs for life, but what were they thinking when they figured that 4 belly pans would be a good idea when it comes to getting to the oil filter and drain plug??!! I mean having to take part of the fender liners out??!! C'mon!!!

I think we should talk to vw/subaru about doing a show in their lot on a saturday. It would be good business for them if we did a vw/subaru show in a side of their lot and they have plenty of room. They could even use it as advertising saying come check out the car show and surf the lot.

Last year, 4 seasons subaru/VW asked my club to come to thier customer appreciation day/street fair with our cars and have a sortof mini show. WOUld you believe that nobody showed?! :finger: We were invited by the dealer to bring our cars down, I couldn't get anyone to even show up. I can call shawn and see if they are doing it again.
