Joints.. Not the ones you smoke.

Post by Roadhog »

Well I took off my axles and the drivers side inner cv joint was REALLY stiff. I could barely move it by hand.

Sooo... I washed it out, and that freed it up a bit. Then I decided to be a real idiot and take it apart. Which involved removing the balls. NOW.. for the life of me I cannot get it back together. When I do, Its just really really stiff, won't move freely.

So I probably need a new cv joint right?

I talked to the mechanic I work with today and he said they should be pretty tight. So I guess the other one is the one thats actually starting to wear. :ninja:
