Car has been smelling of fuel lately. Loading up for a 450mi drive I see a puddle forming under the accumulator........

Just the other day, a friend was over and asked how my glue was holding up, as I had repaired the return on top of the assembly some 5 years ago. It was cracked so I cleaned it and covered it in fuel tank repair cement. I had completely forgotten until he asked.

It failed :( I think its because I had to use ethanol gas the other day.

Now I no longer have a spare 60mm accumulator housing :(

Put the entire assembly in.... Leaked like a sieve :banghead:

Found issue:

Put together once more with new seal....... sprayed fuel everywhere. Had ring on caddywhompus. Remedied and all seems well after being soaked in fuel for most of the day.

Going to maybe go for a cruise after doing my chores.

Fought a few of those boxes in my time. Final fix was joining the return lines together and putting in a walbro 255lph in place.

So I've been waiting to post updates till after the All Euro Show that got canceled. So here they are.

This car has been mechanically sound and running trouble free so onto aesthetics.

Decided to Whore it up a little with a set of 15" RS-001's.
Somewhere in there I added Crosshairs and Smoked bumber lights too.

Tires are too small:

New proper sized BFGoodrich SportComps and changed the bolts to shiny ones.

Catbutt is proud :)

Decided the paint has gone too long without a good rubbin. Had some nasty oxidation going from not sitting outside. Took a few hours.

Front door polished but not rear

Getting in der good!

Ewwww!!!!!!

Hood done

Ohhh!!!!!!

This is a lot of work. No power tools on this ol' girl.

Image

Little touch up here and there made a difference at 5ft plus :)

Image

Getting things back together. New door handles.

Trim gets treatment

Now for the Whoring. So much for The EuroShow
