its gone already! thats sweet bbm rebuilt it! just a rebuild or did they spruce up the g charger? not many g60's on the road anymore, very cult status engine, i ran one in europe but with a mercedes roots blower on it. killer reliability. and 250 hp. the charger could outflow the cylinder head by a long shot. strong motors for sure, and a healthy G charger makes an intoxicating sound, i would run a boost guage if it doesnt have one, the last G60 i seen made 1 psi of boost haha. i would start with the suspension, make sure its all tight and good to go. watching!

So they apparently did the G-lader as well.

I had to take on some debt for the old car business for my pops and waiting to get paid back there.
Puts a damper on my suspension overhaul I was going to do. I did manage to get ball joints and a couple other cheap pieces so far. The G60 is still together so I've been driving it around. Its the only white Rado in town I think.

Also it doesn't help that I bought a VR6 Corrado haha. But you can't pass up a $1800 VR6 Corrado. I'll start a project thread for it as well.

Bought a complete engine mount replacement kit from BFI. Looking forward to smooth shifting and not as much shaking!
Also picked up some new tail lights that were on clearance!

G60 is up on stands in my garage. The main task is doing the engine mount replacement. But I just ordered a new valve cover gasket. I'm sure that it will be in the garage most of the winter getting new parts haha.

Update:
Oh look, now my whole front is off....




Went on VWVortex and sent a gentleman a message about some powder coated white upper/lower radiator supports, front crossmember, and rear k frame. All for $300

So haven't heard back on the powder coated parts... probably not gonna happen.

Today I was trying to unmount my intake manifold so I could get the valve cover off and low and behold I strip 2 of the 4 bolts to get them off.

So I take the next course of action. Left hand drill bet and an extractor.
Get my extractor bit in the bolt and *POP* the extractor bit broke off in the bolt... FANTASTIC...
Now I have no idea what to do. Any ideas?

Drill the head off. Or cut a slot with a dremel and use a flat screwdriver. Or vice grips.

Genius! I need to get my hands on a dremel. I tried using some vice grips but can't get the into the awkward stop the bolts are.

I have a set of these style extractors by Irwin. They work great on those type bolt-heads. I usually use them on crank / water pump bolts, that the last guy installed with an impact till the inside is rounded out. I give them a couple taps on there with a hammer and use a wrench or my 1/4" rattle gun to get them out.
