Subaru has been well behaved and is loving its role as off-road getaway machine.

Buttoned up a few things like shifging likage and driveline, and rigged a larger radiator when I did the transmission and clutch, which made a big difference in its tolerance for long, slow, steep climbs.

Been on a few really good drives this summer and she's been purring like a chicken. Found some mud, snow, rocks and plenty of adventure.

That's the tunnel between Clancy and butte I can't remember the name of the tiny town you turn off at for the life of me. There are some fun hills up there to climb!

Its the Wickes tunnel. 5200 some odd feet long. Some deep water through there, it was up over the hood.

You have to be careful driving through there though, I went through in a 4 runner a few years ago and last summer walked through the tunnel when the water was lower and there are railroad ties all over.

Awesome pics dude. That Subaru looks like fun.
Ah yes the wickes tunnel. Last time I was there I was pumping rounds through a ak-47 down that tunnel. Lol pretty sweet tressel down the way at corbin. The tunnel was for the train to bring ore from the basin mining area to the smelter in wickes. And on to east helena. Silver smelter I beleive.
