I've been waiting a while to get a TDI. First we picked Beth up a Jetta, and it's been such a great daily and just a nice car, we decided it was time to pick up something bigger and that got better mileage.
Picked it up with 130 miles.
Mods so far are...I had the windows tinted and installed splash guards and a rear trunk spoiler, plus various VCDS tweaks like remote convenience windows and I changed the country to Germany for some additional features.
Saved quite a bit ($140.00 ish) installing the spoiler and splash guards myself. The splash guards are OEM and came with instructions and hardware, and it's so simple I didn't even take pictures
The spoiler cam pre-painted Candy White, and comes with 3M tape on the top side:
Sand and fill the bottom groove with adhesive. I used a clear poly trim adhesive:
Initial placement is important, but after it's placed it can be shifted a little...
Installed and held with some painters tape for a couple of hours:
