Started in on the Bilsteins. Super-rusty. I thought about possibly sending them in for a rebuild just because, only to find out that most guys when older than about 5 years get turned away with, "we don't carry parts for those anymore." So that's nice. Anyway, all looks okay. There's some leaky oil on one. Not sure if that's from the shock or something else.

Threw a new fuel filter on the S8...acceleration felt better but I'm still having a slight lag in acceleration that doesn't seem tto be electrical s it's not an instant off/on type of lag...perhaps the intake diaphragm arms need to be looked at...

Installed a new front plate bracket on the used grill I picked up for the S4. Oh yeah, I bought an S4

Yeah i'm loving it. I got my new beetle sorted and sold it. I used that cash and some that I had been saving and purchased a 2007 S4 limited with a 6 speed in dolphin grey pearl. Saw it on craigslist, made the guy a slightly lowball offer, and 4 days later he accepted it. Score!
