WTB MK2 or 3 Alternator and Accesories

Post by Bobielon »

Hey Guys,

Looking to upgrade the alternator on my MK1 GTI. I am in search of a MK2 without AC to snag the alternator and alt. mounting brackets off of.

Also, i think a MK3 ABA with or without AC would work. On a MK3 I would need the waterpump and crank pully too.

Anyone have any parts cars around? Or know of a yard with one? My local yards in Great Falls have zero VW stuff.

Thanks!

The mk3 uses a vr6 water pump pulley for their non a.c. car. U can use the a.c. bracket but your belt will need to be a little longer
