So the final nail went into the coffin...

They put the Jetta on the lift and found $2000+ suspension repairs.
Officially totaled!

I went and swapped all my OEM parts back on it and took any aftermarket parts that didn't affect essential functions.
Putting my Long Beach wheels w/ brand new tires on the VR6 Corrado! Go check it out the pics!

I owe $2300ish on the Jetta still so out of the MEAGER $4340 that I'm getting from the insurance company I will only have $2000 to put towards a new vehicle.

I'm thinking another MK4 Jetta 2003-2005 GLS/GLI or get a fat loan and get a newer VW like a 2009ish TDI manual or a MK4 R32.

Suck. How much to buy back from insurance? Hows the motor?
It's not how fast you go. It's how well you go fast.

Usually, you can just approach the insurance company directly without the car even leaving your hands. You shouldn't have to have them take it at all.
