I would like to take the Beetle but I don't think that long of drive would be wise in it. Looks like I'll have to take the Passat.

any updates on this? any range of dates being looked at? we see a VW (i'm guessing air cooled) gathering is happening in glacier being advertised on various sites (facebook and i think craigslist)

I can probably make this drive, however I'm pretty low so not sure how far I'll venture into the park lol

Id love to go but it doesn't sound like Mercedes are welcome. Even though Mercedes are such a huge part in Vws creation. It sounds like an amazing time. If only they made and awd diesel wagon on the states. Id have a newer VW again.

@herm99 the park roads are pretty good, you'll only have problems if you're going into gravel lots or campgrounds
