MK5 Jetta Swap car? Any Interest?

Got a buddy with a mk5 Jetta, body has had alot of repair, but it has a new 5 speed manual and has a TDI was running fine but then wouldnt start, my guess it needs a lift pump, i think he would sell around 1000 for the car, could be a flip, but would need a deep clean on the interior some body work and paint, but would make an awesome mk1/2/3 donor, let me know if anyone interested!

180k engine, 90k trans. trans replaced from hitting a block of wood on interstate and broke the case.

I think it is, last I heard he wants to fix. but doesn't have the time or money, he stops in to see me from time to time, I will let him know there is interest and see what he says. ill hit you up next time I see him
