I got the o2m mounted to my 12v yesterday. It took way to long to get that way. I couldn't find any bolts the right size so I had to cut down longer bolts to make them fit. One benefit from that is now I have all matching bolts, all of the bell housing, starter, and front motor mount bolts are all 19mm that are rated 10.9. No mismatched bolts, now I can throw all my extra sockets away!

Yeah, I'm just going to retrofit the mk2 rad support to fit a VR6 radiator I think.
It may have been a shopping cart at some point in its life. I found it in an ally abandoned with old coats in it. It works really well.

IT FITS! Super excited to see it in the bay finally. After I tack welded the trans mount in place I pulled it all back out and finished the weld. Didn't make a lot of progress this weekend but still pretty excited about seeing it in the bay.

Excellent!!! Did you need to clearance the frame rail for the crank pulley?

Nope it fits, to be honest I didn't really inspect it that close. I might run a different crank pulley if I don't have another stock one laying around. The rubber that connects the harmonic balancer is in really rough shape. I think that should free up some space too. I need all I can get!

My 89.5 GLI with an early AAA needed a 1/4". Looking back, I might have been able to shift the subframe and mounts that much.

Fitted a b3 pedal box, brake booster and cut out a hole for the clutch master this weekend.
