Whats a used trans cost? $300? x 3 = $900. Differential is $900. There's $1800 worst case. New trans + differential is $2400, so $600 more. Rebuilding one ads up fast. Especially if you need to replace a gear or two, then it gets really expensive.

Dunno, I took the gamble and lost horribly. Either way, an lsd will be the best mod you can do. You will love it so much!

If I had 2400 to sink into a gearbox I might go that route, but I don't. Probably should have gotten a new OEM tall block and turbo too, but the used one will have to do.

Don't get me wrong as I do appreciate your concern. I am just unfortunate to be one of those people that prefer learning things the hard way.
