This is about where I started to tear into it. I have my mind set to pull the motor and trans all in one unit, and separate and fix whatever is wrong.

Air suspension had been replaced with Arnott's air solution of using Bilstein struts and shocks

This is where it's kicking my ass. I can't get the motor out, most likely because the cats are hanging up on the subframe, and I can't get them to get up and over, and I don't think I want to remove the downpipes.

I'm currently rethinking my strategy. Not wanitng to drop the subframe, I think I'll get the motor back in and pull the trans separtaly like I did with my A4.
OR
Maybe I'll go ahead and pull the downpipes and get the everything out. I'm already balls deep in it
