It's kinda weird posting to two sites, but I actually like the new software better than the current.

Gotta do some site promotion to get those other Euro guys on!

I can help ya out with the install joe. Eddie should have a ton of stero removal "keys" laying around here. Definitely go with the enfig over an fm converter. Its way more crisp and the bass shows better through the rca's rather than fm.

I'm old school, never runs out of batteries. And yes I know there is signal degradation, but anyone who's ever met me in person knows I'm deaf as shit. So, I'm going to continue to rep the this thing they called a cassette, and play my music loud. Cheeryo!

Yeah, it has both, and this is the easiest solution. It works great actually. I do have a CD changer option, I wonder if they make one of those for me. The funny thing is my truck has the big stereo system in it, not the fancy car. I don't want to alter my head unit, and I guess it's just not a big deal to me anymore. Maybe I'm getting old, or I've just had my fun with stereos. The stock Bose system isn't great, but it isn't unbearable, so I just leave it alone. Costs pile up fast when I start to look at audio options, I'd rather do something else with the money. If I want to go BOOM, BOOM, I just drive the truck.

That is what I am using now. Yes the R has a tape deck

I think with the combo of the tape thing, the hiss of the tape deck, and the not phenominal audio output of a Palm, the result was not so good.
So I ordered the enfig thing, and I am re-ripping all my mp3s to a higher bitrate.

Ditto. As long as I can hear the music clearly, I am happy. Plus audio stuff is heavy, and my car needs no more weight.

Ryan, you should get the hook up with the Enfig like Joe. You gotta go digital in 2007!

Joe, just out of curiosity, what bitrate do you rip your MP3's? I've always done 128, but recently started to do 192 because it sounds a little clearer without taking up much more space. Just wondering what you other guys do...

I have Napster and a 30Gb Zen now, so I don't worry about filling that up.
