phase 2: g-laden rocco

well the plan for this rocco has changed so many times i cant keep track anymore. ill just go with what i got.

the plan: 1990 corrado g60/o2a swapped into my gold 81 rocco. also getting a new electrical system from a donor 78' rocco.

Ohhh, are you using that freshly rebuilt 1.6? That is a good idea. Because with a snail on there you will forget that it is a 1.6 all together. I have also heard(and seen used) the turbos off Saab 900s work fairly well also, if you can find one that works. I bet you can find a T3 easier than that though. Good luck!

yup, im using the GEX 1.6 crate motor. fresh with 0 miles.

as tomorrow is thanks giving and im staying in town i figured i would tear the rocco apart.

You had a 6 puck clutch in that thing?! How didi you dirve that thing, OH, and why did you need it?! Or is that going in the new tranny, although it looks used.

Actually the PO before me put that clutch in. Some ceramic/kevlar combo I beleive?
It was always a bitch to drive but it's an awesome clutch!
He used to track race it in Portland so that's why it had a lot of work done to it.
