silicon spray works great for doors... dunno about sun roofs tough... i think they use a solid for that.

At audi a couple of the techs just used WD40 for the doors...

Good old WD40.
Cheep and easy.
Or maybe a wax based lube for sun roof
that might work nice.

wd40 sucks. dirt sticks to it and it dries shit out.

For that application (sunroof rails?) use a white lithium grease. I would find a synthetic with Teflon in it - maybe the NAPA DC south of Laurel Road has some. Clean well and apply - remove the excess. The spray lube is fine for your doors. I use TriFlow Teflon spray and clean it off well. WD40 is basically mineral spirits (stoddard sovent) and mineral oil, so it protects from rust and lubricates. It's a lightweight oil, and wears/washes of easily. TriFlow is a little heavier.

I just use what my dad has at the shop.
That way he buys it and i dont use WD eather
it was good for things when i was lil lol
