Dood, you won't need or want a stroker after you chip your car - 57 hp and 72 ft-lbs is a lot for the $$. If you go stage 2 you'll get another 20hp probably. With the intake and exhaust you already have I would bet you would put down more HP than expected. Plus you will get way more boost from your stock turbo...maybe 18+psi?! Save your $$ for a big turbo kit (K04) and you could be putting down close to 300hp. In a 4cyl and and light car like a Jetta that will put you back into the seat hard.CBCGSXR1000 wrote:Ya i know i looked into that alil befor i got it.

Hmm, well I'm not sure of the gains on a stock 2.o - it may not be worth the cost/HP but I thought to check it out. I have plans to turbo the car, but I need the put the parts together - Wade you have a source for a K03s or something comparable?Rennwagen1 wrote:Yes, you are correct Mike, I am the newest and only authorised REVO dealer in Montana. I will have to say this first, though. I am totally brand new to this software, and I will need to do some research first on your car. As far as I know, you would not be able to modify it with Lemmiwinks, nor would you want to. think you would already be into stage 2 or 3, and an SPS tuner if you are planning on turboing the car. When it comes down to that, I may be able to get a custom tune, based on modification. Gimme a little bit of time, and I will have more.

Similar to a VR6, I would expect it primarily changes your torque curve. I would wait and simply get it done when you Turbo it.MikeWire wrote:Hmm, well I'm not sure of the gains on a stock 2.o - it may not be worth the cost/HP but I thought to check it out. I have Revo and was thinking about spending the $50 and getting bumped to Stage II. I'm not unhappy with Revo at the moment (you lose your misfire warning) but I'm not really a fan either. I currently have the Revo big injector programming. I'm in Billings if anyone wants to go for a ride. Remember, though, my car's very heavy and AWD as well.
I'm plannig on moving to MTM's Stage III (K04) once my K03 goes.

Right on.
See with so of the upgrades there are warnings that say internal parts
may not handle upgrades .
So im guna build one that can.
Im lookin at a honey well balistic ball bearing turbo kit
should put out around 350+ horse.
Might be hard to get it to hook up but im lookin at some comp tires
they should help but that down the road other things
first u know.
