No worries.
If you can give me a complete rundown of the specs of your motor, that would help me describe what I need. Also, do you currently have stg 1 tuning installed?

Okay, I just spent 2 hours on the phone with George at REVO, and this is what I cam up with. These are the stage 2 requirements:
For 1.8T Longitudinal. Audi B6 A4. (No fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail)
Required: 225TT/S3 injectors or Bosch EV12 style 380cc(@3bar) alternative
(Genesis injectors recommended if factory type are not used)
Full cat-back performance exhaust
Testpipe or highflow catalytic convertor
Recommended: Front-mounted Intercooler
(The intercooler is a requirement if customer wants maximum boost)
Cold Air intake
Turbo inlet pipe (Samco or Neuspeed inlet hose)
I talked about your car specifically and he said that the only thing you would need that you don't already have is either a test pipe, or a high flow cat. Which is hte most important peice, since it is the most restrictive part of the engine. He also recommened the Eurocode peice. (if that means anything) Also, according to him, you may not be taking full advantage of the stg 1 tuning if you are still using the factory cat.
The stage 2 tuning uses more aggressive base maps with a variable table on top of it. It will produce more boost, timing control, and fuel adjustments. He said that with the test pipe, and the mods you already have, and stage 2 tuning, that thing will be a monster.
That is what I found out, let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks Aeron for answering my questions.
But, it means I need to get a TP. Then, I have to install it
Anybody know of a muffler guy that would be inexpensive at installing my TP? If not, no big.
The cat's not straight through is it?
LOL. Oh, I do...I don't know that I want ALL the boost. I can't afford a new turbo just yetMikeWire wrote:DO IT!

You will not find an exhaust shop that will install al test pipe, as the are illegal in all 50 states. The upside is that here in MT we do not have to have cars smog checked. It will not pass smog in ANY state that must be checked. The other option is a high-flow cat (race cat). Those would be put on by exhaust shops, however.
Yes cat is "straight through" but if you have ever tried to look through a cat, you can hardly see the other side through the cells, and if light doesn;t make it, how would exhaust gases?
So, in conclusion, a test pipe is illegal, and a high flow cat is not. If you are planning on staying in MT for a while, I say go test pipe, if you need to have it smogged, go race cat. Either way, one is required for Stg 2 Tuning.

Right, I know they're illegal. My point was that I'm lazy and don't want to install it

Another simple solution is to remove your exhaust and take it to the shop seperately. Simply tell them it's for you track car, and it's all stripped down and you trailer it. Or as Roadhog said, have the filler piece made and weld it in yourself. A shop can install high flow cats for you, they are legal and MT has no concern with them passing any smog tests. But a high flow cat is bit more expensive than just straight tubing.
