My DIY Strut Brace.

Couple of 2" muffler clamps, some 1" square tubing.. Weld muffler clamps to tubing... Profit.

Its stiff as hell :|

Tommorow on Spencers How To show we will look at how to properly create an entire hood from basic materials you can find in you kitchen! Such as foil and toothpicks.

Nice job man. Looks great.
Now you have a place to put your 5 point harness.

That bar is nice, and I'm sure it does add rigidity to the rear of the car, but it is no where near strong enough to hold you in the event of a frontal collision.

Yeah lol... Im getting a 4 point roll cage for that and doing it right.

lol..

I tested it out today and the largest difference is the radio reception.. I think it increased 10fold.. I am getting stations from china now..

But seriously, the hatch rattle disappeared, and the turn in seems tighter.

looks good spence and i dont mean to pry but why did you choose square over round bar just asking. but it dose look realy nice
i can't spell but if you stare at it long enuff it looks like a hiden vr6
