Cool, the stuff looks good!

Sorry, slightly OT, but where did you end up having it done?

I am thinking about having my wheels PCed...

not much to update, as soon as the tax return comes the bodywork will be professionally finished i.e. new rear arches and lower rear valance finished in primer, new pistons and hopefully enough left over for some v-maxx coilovers. then the block goes to the machine chop gets over-bored for some Bildon 81.5 or 82mm forged turbo pistons yielding a 9.0:1 CR balenced crankshaft and all new bearings. then i start saving for a turbo and sds engine management.

so list of things to still get:

sds em4f engine management 1400
both rear outer arches 142.00 with price of valence too
lower rear valence
bildon pistons 550
powdercoat rear axle beam add rear disc brakes (already have) 150 ish with other stuff getting coated too
new crank bearings ???
machine shop work ??? lots :)
turbo manifold 200ish
turbo 650 ish
intercooler and piping ???
v-maxx coils 600
wheels-1000+
carpet 200ish
BFI underside X brace 150
paint inc everything needed 350
and much more im sure im missing

i.e. its gonna be a slow process and lots of money  but lots of fun at the same time

money invested so far i.e. cost of car and parts build up roughly 3448 and change with parts at retail instead of cost?---> 4778 and change :banghead:

not alot to report, progress is slow, engine bay body work takes rediculous patience and i have very little most days but fortunately today was an "off" day and i felt like sanding! so it doesnt look like much but got the corners in the rain tray pretty well wrapped up

more soon stopped into the machine shop to check on progress and my head had for mildly bent intake valves from carbon build up and all my valve guides were way outta tolerence. hes installing new guides replacing the bent valves, a 3 angle valve job, new valve seals and new spring keepers. and the head is so nice and clean now! pics of that soon
