Borla Exhaust

Post by FutureStage1 »

So I was shopping around for an exhaust to buy and thought about maybe getting a borla exhaust. I listened to a bunch of clips of Neuspeed, AWE, Millitek, and Magnaflow on youtube. I thought the Borla exhaust suited me for both the sound and the price was extra nice. :screwy: Am I crazy for seriously considering this exhaust? I just wanna free up the most restrictive part of the audi... This is a graduation gift for myself in May =)

I have a Borla and love it, it's very subdued. I can tell I did something, and if I get on it you can hear it, but it's great for daily driving. Didn't notice much power gains untill I gutted my downpipes, but that would have been the same with any exhaust.

I have had a TT/Borla system on my Jetta, since 1998 and I love it. Actually that is the second one, since the first got messes up in a rar-ending incident. Come to think of it, I have a TT/Borla on my GTi also! Anyway, I love the sound of both of them, and would recommend Borla to anyone! There you have it.

It's just a tube to vent air :) Some are simply more tuned than others. My testpipe just arrived yesterday...
