Turns out the clearance on the back is less than I thought.
No fit, even the solder spots needed to be slimmer.

Filed down the solder a bit and moved the resistor down to the underside, then ran the leads up top around the edge. This works fine and fits

Was able to get things back together tonight before it got too dark

All lights on. I think I'm going to have to put a resistor on that amp light though (that'd be the crazy bright red one). It's too much, need to tone it down a bit

That's better. No more "laser beam" as my girlfriend called it

Just added a resistor

As most of you know that have 15+ yo cars, they get an old age type of smell to them. I read that coffee grounds are good at absorbing all sorts of smells, even cigarette smell so I thought I'd try it. Regular Folgers, spread around. I'll leave them for a week, then vacuum up the mess. Sure smells nice now

Does it smell like coffee now? Because I would take old car or pretty much anything over coffee.

sacrilege
Vote kick this guy

It smells like coffee, yes. I've read that after you clean all the grounds out though the coffee smell is gone and you're left with freshness.

I have to ask, is that what you did with the coffee I left in the work fridge?
