pic too big, but it had no dents, and was solid. but had a colony of mice living in it.

That's a good one!
I never thought of Brax - I always considered that place as more of a parts warehouse, but I will give a call tomorrow. There's one in Spokane on CL that I called on and the guy was way cool and is sending me pics tomorrow - it's just so far to haul a non-running bus...it would need to be a super deal for Project Geizig and only if Randy (or someone else) is willing to haul it that far. I suppose a shipping company would do it too, but that's a pain - I had to deal with that when I got my Avant shipped from CT.
Divide is a
little closer huh

Here's pics of the 1975 I found in Spokane - I think it's a twin to the 72 you posted:
It's not a Westy, but a 7 passenger transporter with a 1700 injected T4 and a 4sp manual, and I think great place to start. Had a small engine fire (fuel lines I bet) as you can see by the black soot in the vents, a small amount of cancer on the lower part of the side panels but I like the fact that it's fuel injected and the black interior is a plus. Missing the center seats and a passengers headrest, but those should be easy to find.
Any thoughts? I offered the guy 600 and he came back with 700, but I don't know the damage of the engine fire and the injection stuff, intake, MAF sensor, other plastics, etc... I have more pics coming tonight of the engine and cab and the passenger side.

They are prone to engine fires.....stay away. no fuel injected buses.

Here's a bay shot:
It's pretty roached and would take some time and $$ to rebuild. So I may need to reconsider my offer.
Josh most if not all engine fires are fuel line related and I'm sure the higher pressures of the injection could cause a higher probability of the lines breaking, so word to that.
FWIU the rubber lines crack and leak...that's what causes the problem, no matter if it's injected or not. There are replacement lines for later T4 motors that are a reinforced fuel line, but the earlier T1 motors had the same issues.

Other than the engine fire, I think it's pretty straight. So what do you other bus, or previous bus owners think about that? What would you offer the guy, and what do you think it's worth?

Holy crap... that's nasty. remember to pack a fire extinguisher when you get a bus. never know.

Mike all air cooled will catch fire. The fuel injected ones are known for a host of other problems. Just looking out
